Creamy Pea Soup
with Kiri ®
Fantastic with after-dinner tea or coffee, this date cake has beautifully smooth flavor thanks to softened dates, creamy squares of Kiri, sweetened condensed milk and melted butter. Chopped walnuts add a subtle crunch.

Directions |
STEP 1
Mix Kiri squares with dates, butter, water, condensed milk and walnuts.
STEP 2
Place mixture over low heat until the dates are smooth, and then leave mixture to cool.
STEP 3
Mix flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon and add it to the date mixture, stirring until completely combined.
STEP 4
Spoon mixture in a cake pan greased with butter sprinkled with flour and bake at 160°C for 45 minutes. |
Garnish Once it’s cooled, sprinkle powdered sugar over the cake. |
