Chocolate Pain au Lait

Characterized by its elegant, buttery flavor, pain au lait is a breakfast staple all across France – and this one is sure to be a hit, thanks to the sweet filling of Lurpak Butter, Puck Whipping Cream and chocolate. Bon appetit!

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • ½ kilogram of flour
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 75 milliliter Puck Whipping Cream
  • 50 grams Lurpak Butter
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 15 grams yeast
  • 250 grams water
  • Milk and chocolate fingers for stuffing

Directions

STEP 1
Put the flour in a bowl. Add the Lurpak Butter, Puck Whipping Cream, yeast and salt. Knead the ingredients using water to get well-balanced dough, and leave it to rest.
 
STEP 2
Cut the dough into small squares. Put the chocolate fingers in the middle and roll the dough.
 
STEP 3
Leave it to ferment one more time, and then bake it in the oven at medium heat (180 degrees Celsius).
